The Dieppe / Utah Beach event takes place on the grounds of the Historic Dunkirk Lighthouse in Dunkirk, NY. With living history displays as well as two battle reenactments on nearby Cedar Beach, various units relive two major beach landings that changed the war.
The costly landing at Dieppe, resulting in large numbers of casualties to the brave Canadian forces charged with securing the French port. And the famous June 6th D-Day landings on Utah beach where the Allies grabbed a foothold on the Normandy Coast.
